The New York State Department of Conservation has a program that would help to restore the forest on your land and improve the quality of the vegetation and wildlife habitat.
The Regenerate New York Forestry Cost Share Grant Program is for those who own 10-1000 acres!
The purpose of this grant program is to support the regeneration of forests so they may continue to deliver vital services such as mitigating climate change, protecting air and water quality, and supporting the economy.

That program, known as the Water Amnesty Program, is ending soon according to a report by WKBW-TV.
The Water Amnesty Program ends on June 30th and allows people who had their water shut off due to non-payment to have their water services restored. Residents can also apply for a payment plan to help them repay past due balances. That payment plan waives interest and penalty fees and can be extended to 12 months.
Applying for assistance is easy. If your service has been turned off, all you need to do to have it restored is call Buffalo Water at 716-847-1065. To apply for a payment plan is also just as easy, you can complete the application right here on the Buffalo Water website.
