Officers stood down after enquiries were made. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: At around 1.40pm on Thursday, 14 January, officers were called to the Sutors Avenue area of Nairn following a report of a loud bang that sounded like a gunshot. Local officers were supported by specialist resources and conducted enquiries in the area.
