gaspin has concerns of his own. i knew that donald was famous in new york but i didn t know how he would translate to the rest of the country. so i was a little nervous about that new york personality. the apprentice could transform donald trump into a national celebrity. but only if middle america would connect with a new york billionaire. hello, everybody. when we got the rough cut for the first episode, it was fun, it was really entertaining. but it was the surprise toward the end of the show that shattered expectations. that would be me. when we got to the boardroom scenes where donald you know brought all the contestants in and sort of gave them his opinion of their performance, that s when you knew you had something special. you re sort of a disaster. i don t know what s going on. don t take offense. i don t take offense. everyone hates you.
