With COVID-19 cases on the rise in the region, the Grand Traverse County Health Department has instructed all Grand Traverse County school districts to pause in-person learning and offer virtual instruction for one week for secondary schools, beginning Tuesday.
All Traverse City Area Public Schools high schools and middle schools will pause in-person learning for one week. In-person instruction will resume on Monday, April 12.
Students in the MICI and PASS programs will also go virtual. TCAPS Montessori sixth grade students are part of the school’s elementary school program and will continue face-to-face instruction.
School meals will be available at each TCAPS secondary school building from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
