TROY As staff and students across Michigan’s many school districts, including the Troy School District, return to in-person learning after a year-long hiatus, one group of school stakeholders was among the last to receive the green light to resume meeting together.
The Troy School District Board of Education passed a resolution Feb. 23, in a 5-2 vote, aimed at having board trustees return to in-person meetings. Board Trustees Elizabeth Hammond and Steve Gottlieb voted against the resolution, with Hammond stating she couldn’t support the resolution as it was written.
