St. Lawrence County will hold a public hearing about its upcoming application for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.
The hearing will be held on Monday, April 5, at 5:35 p.m. in the Board of Legislators Chamber of the County Courthouse, 48 Court St.
The county is applying for $600,000 to fund the 24th round of its Direct Homeownership Assistance Program (DHAP).
If the application is successful, the County anticipates that 15 low- to moderate-income households will be able to purchase their first homes.
During the past 23 rounds of DHAP, the County has assisted more than 620 households to purchase homes.
