Mumbai: BMC to revoke license of firms that cut trees to clear view for ad hoardings
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s D ward has decided to revoke the license of firms that cut trees to clear the view for their advertising hoardings in Mumbai.

In stringent action against hacking of trees, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) D ward has moved a proposal to revoke the hoarding license of advertising companies who deployed men to cut trees and clear the view for their hoardings in Mumbai s Girgaon and Malabar Hill. The firms will be issued show-cause notices to respond to the entire issue.
