Mumbai is again facing an acute vaccine shortage. Municipal Commissioner I S Chahal said that 37,000 people were vaccinated on Saturday and that they have been left with just 45,000 doses of
Covishield and 23,000 doses of
Covaxin. The

BMC said that Chahal has already told the union health minis-try’s joint secretary Kunal Kumar to give a weekly programme and send vaccines on a regular basis as the government of India is the sole procuring agency.
