A homemaker from Badlapur has accused a BMC hospital in Bhandup of placing adhesive tape on her newborn son s mouth. The incident took place on June 2, 2023, and the baby was immediately discharged after the intervention of the parents and a former corporator. A complaint has been filed with the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission, which has summoned the BMC and the police. The Bhandup police have registered an offense in response to the case.
