BluSmart, an electric mobility service, signed a deal with Tata Power to source 30 MW of green energy. This allows BluSmart to power its charging infrastructure and eliminate indirect emissions, becoming the first mobility player in India to achieve zero emissions.
BluSmart is a growing rival of Ola and Uber. With an aim to boost its battery charging infrastructure, the startup has now received Rs 2000000000 funding in a fresh round.
BluSmart currently has over 5,500 BluSmart EVs on Indian roads, including 10 million electric trips completed and over 330 million electric kilometers covered, saving nearly 24,000 metric tons of CO2.
