These were just a few of the many questions 17-year-old Sarah Frei asked as she laid in a hospital bed recovering from a double amputation and other critical injuries she suffered after she was hit by a suspected drunk driver. Yes, her parents, Greg and Amy Frei, confidently answered to every one of their daughter s questions. And now, just six months later, the senior in high school has regained her independence and pursued some new hobbies. She s still able to do the things that she wants to do, which is just amazing, Amy said.

Farmington and Davis high schools shifting to remote learning due to COVID-19

KSL TV KAYSVILLE Farmington High School and Davis High School will be transitioning to remote learning due to an increase in COVID-19 cases, Davis School District announced Monday. Both Davis and Farmington students will begin remote learning on Dec. 15 and will continue it through Dec. 18. All Davis School District schools are closed from Dec. 21. until Jan. 1 for Winter Break, and then students will resume in-person learning on Jan. 4 According to the district dashboard, Davis High School currently has 20 positive cases and Farmington High School has 19 positive cases. Typically, schools will transition to remote learning when it hits a 15 positive case threshold over a 14 rolling day period.
