Blind Boys of Alabama perform Oct 16 in Fayetteville

The Blind Boys of Alabama are bringing the "good news" to Fayetteville for the second annual "Good News and The Blues" fundraiser benefiting the educational nonprofit Music Moves.

The Ozark Mountain Daredevils will play for the final show of the Forest Concert Series at Crystal Bridges Museum. The "ragtag collection of hippies, bohemians and musicians of no fixed ambition" will share their "country-rock and electric bluegrass" starting at 7 p.m. today. Tickets start at $15 for museum members, $17 for nonmembers; 18 and younger are free. Folk-rock duo The Creek Rocks will open. Blue Alley Block Party set this weekend in Ripley

Ripley Main Street is gearing up this Saturday, April 24, for a block party to celebrate the grand opening of the newly designed Blues Alley located behind Stella Boutique. We are so excited for a new event that will be coming to downtown Ripley this weekend. Make sure to block off your schedules for Saturday night. You will not want to miss the Blues Block Party, said Ripley Main Street Director Elizabeth Behm. The event, sponsored by Ripley Main Street, will feature food, drinks, and live music from local favorites Tatum Shappley, Andrea Staten, and Grammy-nominated musician Garry Burnside.  DJ Lametra Rogan will provide music before and between sets.
