Kerry s great outdoors have never been better

Now the county has even more to offer with the official opening of new amenities. Last week Minister of State for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Malcolm Noonan visited Kerry to officially open the long-awaited access to Tomies Wood. The new route, along with the 26-space car park, now means locals and visitors can enjoy access to one of Kerry treasures. Access issues have meant that the attraction was off-limits but, thanks to major funding, everyone can now enjoy the wonderful amenity in Beaufort. Minister Noonan also paid a visit to another wonderful amenity revamped to provide access to the community: Blue Pool Nature Trail.
