Blue Mountains police in bid to rescue three men at Mt Wilson May 12, 2021
KATOOMBA, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia – Blue Mountains Police Rescue are involved in a rescue operation at Mt Wilson, in the northern Blue Mountains, following the failure to return of three men who had been canyoning.
“Blue Mountains Police Area Command Rescue Units, in conjunction with NSW Ambulance and the Toll Ambulance Rescue have commenced an operation to retrieve three men who were reported overdue from a canyoning activity at Mt Wilson,” Blue Mountains Police said in a statement released Tuesday afternoon.
“Police would like to remind people who engage in remote area activities to be adequately equipped and in possession of a working Personal Location Beacon (PLB).”
