Delisted Demon among three players to train with Carlton over summer
By
Carlton has confirmed three players will spend the summer training with them.
The Blues have one vacant spot on their list heading into the 2021 season, with delisted Demon Oscar McDonald, undrafted midfielder Zavier Maher and delisted Blue Callum Moore set to spend the off-season at Ikon Park.
McDonald played 81 games as a key defender for the Demons before being cut at the end of 2020. Carlton has stated previously their need for key defensive depth, after cutting depth bigs Hugh Goddard, Ben Silvagni and Harrison Macreadie.
One player may get an opportunity on Wednesday January 6th during the AFL’s Supplemental Selection Period.
