Derby goalscoring expert Alan Quinn was delighted to net Town s opener in Sunday s 3-2 victory over Norwich at Portman Road. Quinn is also the only player to have scored for both teams in the Sheffield derby.
Club captain Richard Naylor has not ruled out turning his loan move to Leeds into a permanent switch. Naylor, whose Town contract is up at the end of the season, joined the Whites, the club he supported as a boy, on a month s loan yesterday.
Luke Chambers scored his first Town goal, Michael Chopra netted his second of the season and Scott Loach saved a penalty as the Blues drew 2-2 at home to Huddersfield. The Terriers were in front at the break via Adam Clayton before Town equalised and then went in front. On-loan Canary James Vaughan equalised for the visitors then saw his spotkick stopped by Loach.

Town defender Alex Bruce is a summer target of Blackburn, Hull and Leeds, according to one of this morning s tabloids. It s a busy morning on the transfer gossip front with the Blues said to be amongst a number of clubs eyeing a move for Celtic s Paul Hartley.
Bruce is out of contract at the end of the season, having turned down new terms offered in January, and new Town boss Roy Keane is reported to have battle on his hands if he wants to keep the central defender, the son of his former Manchester United team-mate Steve, due to the interest from elsewhere.
