The DeWitt-Lavaca A&M Mothers’ Club hosted its annual Howdy Party Thursday evening, June 29, 2023 at The Garage in Shiner. This annual event honors all incoming freshmen and transfer students who reside in DeWitt and Lavaca counties who are attending Texas A&M University in College Station, Galveston and McAllen. This includes dual enrolled students in Blinn Team and the Texas A&M Engineering Academy. Chili hot dogs with trimmings, desserts, and refreshments along with socializing, games, and door prizes were enjoyed by everyone.
