Wicklow County Council intend to now turn their focus to the Arklow to Shillelagh Greenway, having been concentrating on the Blessington Greenway over recent months.
Wicklow County Council has until the end of January to respond to requests from An Bord Pleanála over plans for the proposed 33km greenway around Blessington Lakes.
