Blessings In Disguise? Blessing Awodibu – The Boogieman Waiting to Make His Pro Debut

Blessing Awodibu did indeed make his long-awaited pro debut at the Indy Pro. Read on to find out the story behind this exciting new bodybuilder known to millions of fans as “The Boogieman.”   Though he has yet to make his pro debut, Blessing Awodibu is one of the most recognizable bodybuilders in the world thanks to his 1.6 million followers on Instagram and his many more millions of views on YouTube. His comical skits have appeared on shows like “Tosh.0” and “Ridiculousness,” and on FOX News, since several of his videos have gone viral with YouTube views in the millions. But he’s a lot more than just a hilarious character being fed bananas by chimps and terrorizing gym mates in a horse mask. He’s a young man with serious potential to do damage in the pro ranks with his combination of size, shape, a tiny waist, and muscle density. If all you knew about this man was that he has a memorable name and a madcap Internet persona, it’s time you found out all about Ble

2021 INDIANA PRO MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT FINALS WRAP UP WITH RON HARRIS | JUSTIN RODRIGUEZ WINS!

JUSTIN RODRIGUEZ  & TONIO BURTON TAKE THE TOP SPOTS! ONTO THE OLYMPIA!  by Ron Harris   The season opener for Open and 212 Pro bodybuilding is in the books, and it was a day full of surprises and upsets     It kicked off with the 212 men. John Jewett, who has placed as high as fourth at the Olympia, was the favorite going in, and I honestly would’ve had no problem with him winning. But the victory went to a rookie from Nevada, Tonio Burton, making his pro debut here. Tonio was round and full, with a wide back and shoulders and a tiny waist. Runner-up was Nathan Epler from right here in Indiana, also taking the stage for the first time as a pro. Nathan has beautiful shape and symmetry and his condition was insane. He’s packed head to toe with thick, dense muscle, and he was s

NEXT MD COVER: CHRIS BUMSTEAD

By Steve Blechman   Classic Physique Olympia champion Chris Bumstead has spectacular structure, shape and symmetry, but like all bodybuilders he’s had to work long and hard to build and carve a championship physique. Chris has had a friendly rivalry with two-time champ Breon Ansley for years, but at the 2020 Olympia, Chris Bumstead drastically improved his back and biceps, and at just 25 years old, decisively stormed his way to a second Olympia title. Chris Bumstead is the reigning king of Classic Physique who has more than earned his spot on the cover of this month’s Muscular Development.             MD’s Giles Thomas talked to Chris Bumstead about the improvements he has made, his growing confidence in his abilities, and his long-term goals in the sport for this month’s cover story, “The Classic Ideal! Chris Bumstead Seals the Deal With 2 Olympia Titles.”

A Blessing for 2021 | Blessing ‘The Boogieman’ Awodibu Is Finally Making His Pro Debut A Blessing for 2021 | Blessing ‘The Boogieman’ Awodibu Is Finally Making His Pro Debut Written by Ron Harris     Redcon1 athlete Blessing Awodibu has never competed in a pro show and hasn’t competed at all since 2017. Yet he is far more popular than most of the top men at the Arnold Classic and Mr. Olympia, especially in mainstream social media. He has 1.6 million Instagram followers, and his YouTube channel has nearly 100 million views, thanks to his unique combination of huge muscles and an outrageous personality. Who else makes a video where he heads to his buddy’s house to smash his PS5 and TV for skipping leg day, jumps over a speeding Lamborghini, or plays tug-of-war with an 800-pound liger? His sense of humor is as outsized as his 300-pound physique. Now, it’s finally time for him to get serious. Blessing has be
