A country estate equipped with its own mansion, tennis courts and farm has been sold for £5m.
The Blenkinsopp Hall and Estate, located near Haltwhistle in Northumberland, has been sold after going on the market for the first time in 145 years.

Other highlights include Gilling Lodge, a modernised, Grade II-listed family home in Gilling West, near Richmond, North Yorkshire, on the market for offers in excess of £2.5 million and a three or four bedroom stone-built home, part of a period conversion of an old farm in Birstwith, near Harrogate, which is on the market for £599,500.
The 540-acre Blenkinsopp Estate, near Haltwhistle, Northumberland, is on the market for £4.85 million. Centred on the Grade II-listed Blenkinsopp Hall, the estate includes a further nine estate cottages, a period stable block including two cottages and estate office, a walled garden and lake.
