A man in Fulton County has been arrested for allegedly threatening to “chop up” and feed his girlfriend “to the animals.” Fifty-four-year-old Layne Johnson is facing two felony charges in connection with the case. According to the probable cause affidavit in the case, the victim told deputies the incident happened at Johnson’s residence April 4. The two had traveled to Mountain Home and upon returning, Johnson allegedly got angry and started choking the victim. She said Johnson then held her by the throat while he burned her breast with a cigarette. The victim told Johnson if he ever did that again, she would have him arrested. She told deputies Johnson said if she did, he would kill her when he got out of jail.
