It is certainly not something youâd find in a hymnal at a Catholic church.
Still, that was the message from The Archdiocese of Detroit on Wednesday when it announced the final parish groupings for Families of Parishes.

Over the next year-and-a-half, all parishes in the Archdiocese will join together into groups that will work together, sharing resources and talents, to further advance the shared mission of the local church.
The Archdiocese plans to form 51 families of parishes, each consisting of three to eight churches and multiple priests. Most within each family border at least one other member parish.
