The broadcaster’s new Executive President, José Manuel Pérez Tornero, is expected to announce changes in the Eurovision and Entertainment division of RTVE this week.

Tornero was elected to the role of RTVE’s Executive President at the end of March. Only two months later, and he is reported to have proposed a number of changes to the corporation.

The singer has volunteered to take a drugs test when he gets home.
Viewers questioned what they were seeing when Damiano was seen on camera bending over a table, with some suspecting he had been caught snorting cocaine.

But the singer insisted he was looking down after another band member broke a glass on the floor.

In a dramatic four-way finish between Italy, France, Switzerland and Malta, the television audience vote pushed Italy into an unassailable lead of 524 points, followed by France (499) and Switzerland (432), Iceland (378) in fourth place, Malta out of the race, and Ukraine (364) coming fifth.
