Female student accused of stabbing female private school classmate

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A Santa Barbara teen is under arrest and has been charged with attempted murder in connection to a weekend stabbing.
Both were students of Laguna Blanca School, the school confirmed.
It happened Saturday off school campus on the 600 block of Roberto Avenue in Santa Barbara. A teenage girl was stabbed and taken to the hospital with significant injuries. She is currently in serious condition, according to school administrators.
Her suspected attacker is an 18-year-old girl identified as Cora Vides. She was arrested and is being held on a $1 million bond, police said.
