The following information comes from the Mattoon Police Department:
Mattoon Police arrested Andrew L. Hussong, 39 years of age of Mattoon, for an active Coles County Warrant for failing to appear for a 2021 Domestic Battery case, as well as for the new offense of Violation of Bail Bond.
The arrest occurred on 5/7/2021 at 7:11pm in the 1500 block of S. 2nd Street in Mattoon. The charge alleges that on 5/7/21, while in the 1500 block of S. 2nd Street, Mr. Hussong was on the property of, and had made contact with a female subject he had previously been court ordered to stay away from. Police located Mr. Hussong on the prohibited property and arrested him for the warrant and the violation of bail bond. Mr. Hussong was taken to the Coles County Jail.
