Chamber event changes
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Blair County Home Garden & Healthy Living Showcase, co-sponsored by the chamber and the Blair-Bedford Builders Association, will take a year off and return in 2022.
“The chamber board and the builders board unanimously agreed that the show’s long history of success makes it too much of a gamble to hold a substandard event,” Chamber Board Chairman Darin Tornatore said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the chamber’s annual meeting and awards presentation, originally scheduled for Jan. 29, has been moved to Feb. 26. The location and the format have not been determined.
