The town southeast of Denver has been shaken by a murder-suicide involving a local man, a woman and her seven-year-old son who were known and "well-liked" around town.
Douglas County Sheriff's investigators, along with the Parker Police Department, released new details on Thursday in last week's deaths of two adults and a juvenile male.
Investigators believe Brandon Timms, 38, fatally shot Angel Meyers, 43, at a home on Blackwolf Drive in Parker before driving to the Reuter-Hess Incline Trail and fatally shooting a boy and himself, according to a news release.
Three people, including a juvenile, were found dead at two locations in Douglas County on Thursday morning, and authorities said they believe the incidents are connected.
Law enforcement from the Parker Police Department and Douglas County Sheriff's Office teamed up on Thursday for an investigation into three deaths.
