Blackwell Public Library kicked off their 2023 summer reading program with a foam party and a DJ on Fri., May 19. At the party, they hosted a number of children from the community for a visit from the Funky Monkey Foam company.
Blackwell Animal Control had big news this month when they announced that, with the help of Blackwell Animal Hospital, they were going to be able to have every shelter animal fully vetted by the time they left their care. This means that not only will they continue to vaccinate each animal, but they will also be able to have them spayed and neutered before they ever leave the shelter. This is very exciting news for the Animal Control Officers Yinger and Parson.
