West Burlington, IA- A smoking ceiling fan at Southeastern Community College resulted in a fire call. The Burlington Beacon reports that the West Burlington Fire Department responded to a fire call at the Blackhawk Tower dorm at SCC on Wednesday, December 1st, but did not find any fire. Firefighters found a fan in a second-floor hallway ceiling that was smoking, but not on fire. Fire crews were recalled, and no injuries or damages were reported.
