DHS offering workplace vaccine clinics

May 13, 2021 The DHS Community-Based Vaccination Clinic in Rock County (located at Blackhawk Technical College ) is collaborating with Rock County Public Health Department to offer local employers and organizations the opportunity to get employees and members vaccinated during a dedicated block of time. This opportunity is available to any business or organization interested in reserving a block of time for their staff, membership, and their families to be vaccinated at the Blackhawk Technical College location. Available clinic times are held Tuesday-Saturday between 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Preferred clinic days and times are identified by the employer or organization, and the finalized block of time and number of days needed will depend on the needs of the organization and clinic availability. This clinic is administering the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines and is therefore open to individuals aged 16 years or older.

Now, she s finally breathing a sigh of relief, knowing she will soon be eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine. She said with her medical conditions, if she were to get COVID-19, she could easily need to be on a ventilator. But her own health isn t her only worry. Blythe lives with her 71-year-old mother, too. She s a stroke and cancer survivor, Blythe said. If I were to get the virus, [it] could potentially kill her if it were to pass on to her. So it s literally a life and death kind of situation for us to not be exposed to anyone, whether they know they have it or not.

Al was a loving, devoted, and cherished husband, father, Papa, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, and a great story telling uncle, cousin, and friend. Al was born on March 14, 1952 in Janesville, WI to Delores (Homan) and Jack Tilton. He graduated from Milton High School. From Aug. 1969 to Aug. 1973, Al was proud to serve his country as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. Semper Fi. On Oct. 9, 1971 Al and his high school sweetheart, Susan Beechler, began their amazing journey together.
