Travellers camped at Blackburn Ice Rink car park A group of caravans have been spotted camped at Blackburn Ice Arena. Planet Ice rink has been closed for much of the pandemic and is based within the Blackburn Retail and Leisure Park complex. A Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of this issue and are taking steps to remove the travellers from this site.” This is the second time in a month that a Blackburn car park has been occupied by caravans. Earlier this month six caravans were parked at the Witton Park Arena for ten days before moving on.
