NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man has been arrested by Philadelphia police for armed robbery and other offenses committed in Norristown. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Dec. 28, Norristown Police Officers responded to a report of an armed subject, who had just fired off several shots, in the 400 block of West Marshall St.  According to a police report, upon arrival, officers were directed by several people to the area of 417 W. Marshall St., where they recovered 11 spent 9 mm shell casings. Witnesses then told officers that the individual that fired the gun was the same individual that officers had been dealing with from a prior disturbance.
