Each Saturday, visitors can purchase breakfast and lunch items from market vendors and listen to live music while they dine.  Flutist Iris Schwartz of Colonial Heights was present sharing her talents. I witnessed a canine listening intently to Schwartz while she played the tune  Going Home .

By Sun Journal Staff Report Read Article Ava Apodaca scored seven of her 12 points during a decisive third quarter to help St. Dominic Academy beat host Pine Tree Academy 36-26 in a girls basketball game Saturday at Freeport. Jessie Zimmerman scored nine of her game-high 16 points during the first half, which ended with the game tied 14-14. She went scoreless during the Saints’ 11-2 third-quarter run, but then finished seven in the fourth to help seal the victory.
