If you asked the hard-core upland hunters which is their favorite type of shotgun to carry in the woods, I’d go out on a limb and say the majority will answer an over/under in either 20 or 28-gauge. Mossberg has introduced a new line of over/under shotguns for 2021: the Silver Reserve Field and Gold Reserve Sporting series.
The double guns are available in 12-, 20-, 28-gauge and 410 bore in the Silver Reserve series (along with a 20-gauge youth gun), and 12- and 20-gauge and 410 bore in the Gold Reserve series. All Reserve Series shotguns feature chrome-lined bores and chambers and dual-locking lugs.
