In honor of Black History Month, Side Street Studio Arts in Elgin is taking submissions for its February exhibit Black Then, Black Now, Black in the Middle ….
This exhibition will comprise both an open call to all artists and an invitational component of regional artists curated by Elgin-based artist Freddrick D. The exhibition is open to the public Feb. 5-28 with an opening reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5.
