Black Ivy Thrift, a new thrift store in West Philly, sells clothing that embodies the civil rights movement

Black Ivy Thrift, at 3605 Lancaster Ave. in West Philadelphia, sells vintage and thrifted clothing that embodies the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s. Run by Drexel University professor Kimberly McGlonn, who also owns Grant Blvd, the store doubles as a museum. It is decorated with various civil rights artifacts, including vintage gloves, records and magazine covers.
