A Rowley Regis man has been fined £150 and ordered to pay £269 in costs and compensation after stealing cash from an Oldbury garage. Matthew Tierney, aged 35, of Durham Road, admitted stealing, jointly with another man, an unknown amount of cash from a Texaco service station. Halesowen, was ordered to pay £157 in costs and victim surcharge after he admitted being drunk and disorderly in Hagley Road. He was given a conditional discharge for a year.
Halesowen drink-driver Lee Frederick William Giles has been banned for two years and ordered to pay £230 in costs. Giles, aged 46, of Lyttleton Avenue, admitted driving a Land Rover on Hurst Green Road with 212 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood,. The limit is 80. A community order was made, including 120 hours unpaid work.
