38 Countries Bring their Best to this Year s Official Competition at the Online Edition of the OIAF
OTTAWA (July 15, 2021) – The Ottawa International Animation Festival (OIAF) announced its Official Competition selections today. With 2528 entries received from countries around the globe, this year s festival shows that although the world may have slowed down, animation did not. Of the entries received, 107 films and animated series from 38 different countries were selected for Official Competition. 48 of those entries are being showcased as a part of OIAF s Panorama screenings (This number does not include those entries selected for the VR category, which will be announced in August).

Pokémon Announces Nintendo Switch Launch Date For Pokémon Unite

The Pokémon Company International and TiMi Studio Group announced that
Pokémon UNITE will release this month on July 21, 2021, for
Nintendo Switch version of
Pokémon UNITE by August 31, 2021, will receive a Unite license for Zeraora,1 which will allow Trainers to use the
Pokémon in battle. Zeraora can close the distance between itself and its opponents in the blink of an eye, just like lightning, and deal massive amounts of damage all at once. Its Unite Move, Plasma Gale, sends out a powerful electric blast that creates a zone of plasma around the area where the blast hits.
