Manee Magee is an Editorial Assistant at SELF. Born in New Orleans, she studied Creative Writing at George Washington University in D.C., where she received a BA in International Affairs. At the university, Imanee was nominated as the Editor-in-Chief of the The Black Ace Magazine, a student-run publication. In her free time, she loves writing poetry, cuddling with her cat Marlee, videography, and studying different languages.
A student-run magazine dedicated to highlighting Black voices will relaunch with biannual print publications this semester for the first time in five years.
