After being lambasted by the court over distributing Covid-19 drug Fabiflu, BJP MP Gautam Gambhir will now provide 200 oxygen concentrators to those having mild or moderate symptoms of the infection in the national capital.
The East Delhi MP said the oxygen concentrators will be provided free of cost and the step has been taken to strengthen the city’s fight against the deadly second wave of Covid-19 which has cost so many lives.

New Delhi [India], April 22 (ANI): After receiving flak for giving out free Flabiflu in his parliamentary constituency East Delhi, BJP MP Gautam Gambhir on Thursday asked if a few strips of Fabiflu he obtained is causing its shortage and said he is proud to save somebody s life in this pandemic.
Speaking to ANI on Thursday, Gautam Gambhir said, If a few 100 strips of tablets obtained from a distributor are being given for free, then, can it be called hoarding ? Is my obtaining a few strips of Fabiflu causing the shortage?

Through a program called Ek Asha Jan Rasoi , Gautam Gambhir s foundation will provide food at Re 1 through community kitchens. We want that no one should sleep on an empty stomach. We ll open 5-6 more kitchens like this in Delhi soon, Gambhir said. The Jan Rasoi will serve nutritious, hygienic food to the needy people at Rs 1 per plate. A total of 500 persons will be provided food each day and second serving will also be allowed, Gambhir said to PTI.
