Lagertha (played by Katheryn Winnick) proved herself to be one of the History and Amazon Prime drama’s most popular warriors throughout all six seasons of the hit historical series. And while she may have bowed out prior to Vikings final season’s midseason break, actor Winnick has shared a sweet message to her social media followers about the show’s final outing and how proud she is the story drew to a close.

Vikings.
Vikings forced fans to say goodbye to many beloved characters, but it also brought some back from the (presumed) dead. That was true of Gustaf Skarsgård s Floki, an original character who was seemingly killed off at the end of season 5.
Creator Michael Hirst told ET at the time that revealing Floki s fate would be a spoiler, despite the fact an Icelandic cave collapsed on top of him and he was spoken about as being dead in season 6 of the series. [How we pick up with Floki] is something that must remain under wraps, Hirst told ET in January 2019, because it s so important and so emotional and so fantastic.

Vikings season six part two is the final instalment as part of the historical drama series. The remaining 10 episodes covered Ubbe s (played by Jordan Patrick Smith) journey to the Golden Land, as well as Bjorn s (Alexander Ludwig) legacy and Ivar s (Alex Høgh Andersen) downfall. One storyline left with an open ending was that of Kjetill s (Adam Copeland) experience on new land.
Vikings would be when the Vikings saw America. That is not, in fact, where the season ends, since we actually see a lot of Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) and Torvi (
Georgia Hirst) settling in the golden land. When did you decide the show would end with Ubbe talking to Floki (
Gustaf Skarsgård) on the beach?
MICHAEL HIRST: That evolved. I knew that Ubbe and Torvi would find Newfoundland, and that s where they would be reunited with Floki. I wondered whether Floki might die. I decided to make that much more ambivalent, and much more of an up ending than a down ending.
