GUWAHATI: The APCC (Assam Pradesh Congress Committee) on Monday announced that the Congress-led grand alliance with AIUDF, CPI, CPI (M), CPI (ML), and AnchalikGanaMorcha will move forward on common minimum programme.

Ripun Bora made it clear that the parties have forged alliance to root out the BJP (BharatiyaJanata Party) from power and save Assam. The Congress has sacrificed for its allies in the past and is ready to sacrifice again to save the State, Bora underlined. The party has also restrained its allies from making controversial remarks.
Further, when questioned about AIUDF supremoBadruddinAjmal drawing falk for making controversial statements, Bora said, Ajmal has never made anti-Hindu remarks. However, the BJP is the one who is known to make communal remarks.

The show has been running since the first episode was aired in December of 2018 and is hosted by comedian Kapil Sharma, and features veteran actor Archana Puran Singh, comedienne Bharati Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and others.
