The winter 2021 anime short-form series
Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin, localized as
Azur Lane: Slow Ahead, is getting its home video releases handled by Shochiku. The distributor has set a two-volume release for this series where they’ll arrive on May 12th, 2021 and July 7th, 2021 where they’re both limited editions on Blu-ray only and they’ll be priced at 9,000 yen each. While that’s still a bit away to say the least, we now have a look at the main covers for both sets as shown below, though we won’t be surprised if the packaging changes in some form by the end.

The mobile game
Azur Lane was announced back in September 2017 an anime adaptation that hit back on October 3rd, 2019. With that series done and settled, a short-form series is now set for a January 11th, 2021 debut with
Azur Lane Bisoku Zenshin. Crunchyroll will be streaming the series and its localized name will be
Azur Lane: Slow Ahead when it arrives next month. With that in mind and as part of their announcements of their winter slate this week, they’ve now added their trailer for it which doesn’t subtitle the song but does some of the dialogue at the end.
