Speaker Bagbin urged to punish perpetuators of Parliament mayhem

United Nations Peace (UN) Ambassador Bishop Sam Owusu has called on the Speaker of Parliament, Right Honourable Alban Kingsford Bagbin, to constitute a committee that would investigate the pandemonium that happened on the floor of the House on the dawn of January 7, 2020.
According to him, the country had come too far to be entertaining such scenes on its national television, where public officers occupying an honourable position as Members of Parliament (MPs) would stoop so low in the manner which they conducted themselves.
The UN Ambassador, in an interview to the media on Thursday in Accra, suggested that the committee, after the investigation, should severely punish all those who would be found culpable of the disturbing scenes.
