IN THE unwieldy-sounding town of Antigonish, N.S., there is a small Roman Catholic college with the equally unwieldy name of Saint Francis Xavier University. It has fourteen buildings, a spirited student body, a distinguished faculty, excellent academic rating and a showcase full of athletic trophies.
