SASKATOON New cases of COVID-19 have been identified at three Saskatoon schools, according to Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS). On Sunday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the school division of two positive cases in individuals at Pope John Paul II School, one case at Bishop Klein School and one case at Bethlehem Catholic High School, GSCS said in a news release. The cases at Pope John Paull II are being investigated as variants of concern, GSCS said. The affected classes and cohorts will switch to online learning, according to the school division.

Several classes in multiple Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools will move to on line learning as of today.
On Sunday the school division was notified by the Saskatchewan Health Authority of positive COVID-19 cases in an individual at each of the following: Pope John Paul II School had two cases, there was also a case each at Bishop Klein School and Bethlehem Catholic High School. The cases at Pope John Paul II are being investigated as variant of concern
COVID-19 cases are also under investigation at St. Augustine School in Humboldt and two cases at E.D. Feehan Catholic High School. It is recommended close contacts get tested and all cohorts and classes switch to online learning today.

Students at a Saskatoon elementary school are heading back to class after a week of learning from home.
During the week, classes switched to online learning for students, according to a release from the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School division.
That’s not the end of issues with the water at the facility, however. A drinking water advisory has been issued for the school, which has the division encouraging students to bring their own water bottles full of drinking water. Drinking water will also be available to the students at the school.
Several water main breaks caused the service shut down for the school and surrounding area.
SASKATOON A Saskatoon school shuttered by watermain breaks last week will resume classes and return to a regular schedule on Monday, according to Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools. The school division announced classes at Bishop Klein School would return March 1, and the school will be under a drinking water advisory, the division said in a news release. Drinking water will be available and students are encouraged to bring their own water bottle full of drinking water, the division said. Buses will also run as scheduled. Classes at Bishop Klein School were cancelled and moved online last week following several watermain breaks in the area.
