PORTLAND, Maine (OSV News) Retired Bishop Joseph J. Gerry, the 10th bishop of Portland, died at Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, July 2, the 75th anniversary of his profession as a member of the Benedictine community.
