A former track athlete added to this country’s homicide count for the year when he was gunned down in Paul’s Avenue, Kingstown, just before 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 5.

A 15-year-old, fourth form student of the Bishop College Kingstown died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), Tuesday 19th January, as a result of dengue fever according to health authorities.
According to a press release from the Chief Medical Officer, the 15-year- old asthmatic female was admitted to the MCMH in early January 2021 with acute dengue fever and a severe allergic drug reaction. After remaining stable initially, the teenager developed complications one week ago, deteriorated and died today,” the release dated Tuesday 18th said.
