Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano and a Christian leader, Rev Uma Ukpai, among others paid last respect to the Bishop of Rhema Deliverance Ministry Worldwide, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu during his interment in Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State.
While Obiano, who was represented by his deputy, Dr. Nkem Okeke praised Nwachukwu for his dedication to the work of God, Ukpai, who preached at the interment, called on Nigerians to emulate Nwachukwu’s life.
In a condolence message to the family, Obiano said: “We all mourn his demise, but let us thank God for the worthy life he lived while in our midst.

Millions of members of Rhema Deliverance Mission, world-wide have been thrown into mourning, following the death of Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu, founder of the church.
DAILY POST learnt that Bishop Nwachukwu breathed his last at 3am on Monday morning in his house at the age of 79 years.
Prophet Ejike Nwachukwu, son of the late Bishop and a pastor in Rhema Deliverance Mission told DAILY POST that his father died peacefully.
“He had been sick previously, but he had recovered, and there was no trace of illness around him. Though he had told us that after Christmas, he would like to go home and rest as he would not like to be sickly to the point of being a burden to anyone.

The founder of Rhema Deliverance Mission, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu, is dead.
It was gathered that the bishop passed away around 3 am on Monday at the age of 79 in his house at Umunya in the Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State.
His son, Ejike Nwachukwu, disclosed this to journalists in Awka, Anambra State.
Ejike said, “He (the Bishop) was once sick, but he recovered. Though he had told us that after Christmas, he would like to go home and rest as he would not like to be sick to the point of being a burden to anyone.
