young people lined up waiting to vote in houston texas, a day later on friday, the last day of in-person early voting in texas. that line of young voting doubling in just eight days time. the question before us, though, what will this mean on tuesday night for the overall results? let s ask ramirez, president of nextgen a merica, the nation s largest youth voting organization. christina, thank you so much for coming back on the show. so far, how are early voting numbers for young voters comparing to 2018, 2020, in your view? well, we know over 1 million young people have already voted during early voting. those numbers are now to 2018. young voters are the generation that are most likely to vote closer to election day. there s been a huge birth of young people that registered, especially young women that have registered across the country. far outpacing young men, the decision to pull back roe v. wade.
